We are closing our registry in response to the Equus-Sims Changes that are about to take place.
These changes will affect the registries and with the changes right around the conner registering your horses before these changes occur would be moot.
Do not worry you will be able to register your horses once these changes have taken effect.

Update-09-16-12
We are still accepting registration on generational stock, so if a foal is produced by already registered horses, they can still be registered.

Now, we do allow editing of foals in CAS prior to "birth". However, each foal should still look like the parents it's out of.

The most important thing I'd like to point out is for realism sake do not edit your foals traits. This is something that we here feel is about making a perfect animal.

If a foal is presented for registry inspection and has more than three traits or those traits have been edited they may risk not being registered. This is to insure more realism in our stock.

We also are implementing a strict guideline. No horse can produce offspring until they are 4 years or older. Any foals produced by horses under this age will not be eligible for registration.

Thank you for your time,
Cara Lithu

We have discontinued Certificates. There were many factors that lead to this change and we tried really hard to find a way to use them still, we have been one of the last hold outs of the older registries to remove them.
Both the registry certificate and breeding certificate have been removed.
Simply look up your horse here, we also will send an email of their acceptance or disqualification.

The new Bulletin Board is up and running, we have a Gypsy Vanner show going on right now on Equus-Sims forum, link can be found on the Bulletin Board.

We also have some info up on rare colors in Gypsy Vanners, only two more registrations left.

We are running a little behind in registration due to RL (relatives came to visit and I've only been able to get online with my phone most of the time).
Thank you for your patience while we get everything caught up.

NOTE:
We have started a bulletin board with important information, please be sure to check it an here (on the news page) for any new information.

We have tried several times to get the gypsy vanner template more life like, we will be uploading a new template soon. We are going to make a correct tail with the two sliders and alter the heights for the three types (hopefully you wont need the siders for the template to work for you).

The head is what has given us trouble, we can't seem to make the top-line of the head straiter without making the horse heavily crested.

Update: we finally got some of the siders working for us and now have a template that matches to the actual breed more, we will be uploading three templates tomorrow: Grand, Classic, and Mini.

Update #2:
We have decided not to make three versions of the template. If you'd like your gypsy to be anything other than a Grand (EA default height is 16.2hh) then you are welcome to download the slider and alter their heights, please inform us of their new height so we may place them in the correct registry.

With Bongo's release of the height slider and soon leg height slider, we have decided to separate out the Gypsies by height. On the first page we mentioned the very real different types of the Grand Gypsy , Classic Gypsy and mini Gypsy.
We would like to implement this soon. EA standard size is 16.2hh, so we'll have tweak around until we get the right height for our gypsy types.

Any Gypsies registered before a certain date and/or those who don't have the slider will be 16.2hh and will be registered as Grand Gypsies.

We will post the update here once it's ready to be implemented.

We are also putting off releasing our new Connemara registry site until the leg slider comes out.

Also PharaohHound has put out two additional siders you should check out: Leg thickness (not really for gypsies), Tail thickness (defiantly useful to get a traditional gypsy tail)

Here's hoping for mane and feathering next :)

We are now officially moved off of Direct Current Stable's page. We want to have a site for the GVR that is dedicated to this wonderful breed. Keep an eye out for new opportunities for your Gypsy Horses.
